Starting Sunday, July 5, STA will be offering Kids Classes. These classes will be offered every Sunday from 6 pm - 7 pm and Thursday evening from 7 pm to 8 pm.
These will be dryland-style conditioning classes for kids ages 11 and up.
Register for one or both classes. Classes will run for 8 weeks.
Costs: $100 for one class per week, $200 for both classes per week

On July 3, at 6 pm, all Olympic Lifters are welcome to sign up and join our in-house competition.
We are partnering with Weightlifting Nova Scotia in hosting the competition. No pressure, just a fun way to see what a competition is all about, in a stress-free, supportive environment. It is going to be a lot of fun, and those who participate in the competition will be entered for a chance to win a prize.

Stronger Together Athletics (STA) is a community-based gym where members can unite to become fitter, stronger, and healthier. STA offers functional fitness classes and open gym access for over 50 hours a week. The goal is to create an inclusive and energetic atmosphere with open hours seven days a week to accommodate your busy schedule. Open gym time and five coach-led classes are available on weekdays, while there are also classes and open gym time on Saturday and Sunday.

HYROX is a combination of running and functional fitness exercises, aligning perfectly with what our gym is all about. It is adaptable to all fitness levels and can be done solo, in pairs, or teams. The functional exercises consist of sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps (cannot escape the burpees!), farmer’s carry, wall balls, sandbag lunges, rowing, and SkiErg. We have several coaches who have participated in an official HYROX Race, where participants alternate between running 1 km and completing a functional fitness station eight times. Yes, that’s right, EIGHT times. At STA, the HYROX workouts will consist of cardio and functional fitness stations designed to be completed during our regular class times. Hyrox classes are Wednesdays at 9:00 am, Thursdays at noon, and Fridays at 5:30.

All classes are 1 hour and are coach lead.
Each class consists of a warm-up, the work out, and end with a cool down. Some classes offer a strength or skill session.
All movements in any class are adjusted to meet the skill set of you, the athlete.
We will meet you where you are in your fitness journey.
During our hours of operation, we offer open gym time, even during class time.
There is always a coach available to assist you, including offering a workout specialized for you.
This is a great time for you to practice movements, and build strength between classes.
